Christophe GREFFIER est entré dans le monde du chien en 2003. Il a commencé par des cours de groupe au sein d’un club d’éducation canine. Rapidement, il a rejoint le Club Alpin Suisse, sauvetage en montagne, puis REDOG Genève, également spécialisé dans ce domaine. Il a gravi les échelons au sein de ce groupe en tant que moniteur, responsable de formation et d’engagement, puis expert lors des examens finaux.
Entre 2009 et 2014, il a suivi différentes formations et a obtenu le brevet d’éducateur canin et le brevet de moniteur pour classes chiots.
En 2014, Christophe a été nommé chef de la brigade canine de la police de Nyon et a formé une chienne de police nommée Buffy. Il a passé l’examen opérationnel avec succès et, en 2016, Buffy était formée pour la piste, la défense, la recherche de personnes et les stupéfiants. Durant cette période et jusqu’à ce jour, il a suivi plusieurs séminaires de pistage avec Jeff Schettler et Alis Dobler. Il a également obtenu le brevet d’homme d’assistance (mordant) et suivi une formation en premiers secours tactiques chien.
Début 2022, il a été demandé à Christophe de reprendre un chien de service afin d’assurer la relève et de le former dans les mêmes domaines. Ce jeune chiot a directement commencé sa formation par le mantrailing avec Henny Martinoni, puis les autres disciplines. En mai 2024, il a passé avec succès l’examen opérationnel des chiens de police.
Depuis 2022, Christophe donne des cours de sportrailing. Il a suivi, en 2023, la formation moniteur sportrailing GAK9 et a obtenu le certificat de moniteur.

Christophe Greffier entered the world of dogs in 2003. He started with group classes at a dog training club. Quickly, he joined the Swiss Alpine Club for mountain rescue as well as REDOG Geneva, which specializes in the same field. He progressed within the group, serving as an instructor, training and engagement coordinator, and eventually becoming an expert during final exams.
Between 2009 and 2014, he underwent various training programs and obtained the certification as a dog trainer and puppy class instructor.
In 2014, Christophe was appointed as the head of the police canine unit in Nyon and trained a police dog named Buffy (Belgian Malinois). He successfully passed the operational exam, and by 2016, Buffy was trained in tracking, bite work, search and rescue and narcotics detection. During this period and up to the present day, he attended several Trailing schools with Jeff Schettler and Alis Dobler. He also obtained the certification as a decoy for bite work and received training in tactical first aid for dogs.
In early 2022, Christophe was asked to take on a new service dog (Tao, Belgian Malinois) to ensure continuity and train him in the same disciplines. Tao started his Trailing training as a puppy under Henny Martinoni’s supervision, followed by other disciplines. In May 2024, he successfully passed the operational exam for police dogs.
Since 2022, Christophe has been teaching Sportrailing classes. In 2023, he successfully completed the GAK9 Sportrailing Instructor Training.
