For most of my life I have held a strong interest in working dogs. Finally, after many years of admiring from a distance, I took on my own Belgian Malinois in 2021 – Buddy. We have been on a journey together attending Irondog Seminars, trialling in PSA, to training with LAND SAR through to exploring other methods of tracking.

After completing the first of many GAK9 tracking workshops several years ago and achieving several double blind certifications, I have been investing my time heavily into learning all I can about this system.
I travelled to Australia in mid-2025 to complete a GAK9 Sport Trailing Trainer Course, which has solidified my understanding of the GAK9 system.

Now as a GAK9 Trainer I look forward to sharing what I know with others in New Zealand.
