GEORGE DEMOS

Trainer 

George Demos has been an active State Trooper for the last 25 years.  He served as a handler and Trainer in the Agency’s full-time K-9 Unit for over 7 years.  He also was a SWAT operator and Gang Unit Officer at various stages of his career.  George and his second dual-purpose certified K9 partner “Cayman” had over 45 finds of fugitives or missing persons, and on 5 occasions located a loaded firearm during a track as well. K-9 Cayman was also certified as a Level II Tracking K9 by GAK9 in 2016.  In 2007 George received his state’s highest police commendation from the Governor for his involvement in a critical incident the previous year. George previously served 6 years as a Combat Engineer in the U.S. Army Reserves as well.

George is a certified Police K9 trainer with GAK9.  His passion is instructing Tactical Tracking for Police and Military Units, and he possesses a clear and experienced understanding of the challenges and dangers involved.  George also enjoys teaching police urban tracking as well.
