J’ai découvert le mantrailing avec Charlotte Bauquesne et Carole Decorsaire alors que nous rencontrions des difficultés avec le comportement de Nobby, notre chien adopté. Il a immédiatement montré une grande motivation pour cette activité et y trouve aujourd’hui beaucoup d’épanouissement. Lorsque nous avons accueilli notre second chien, Koke, un galgo d’Espagne, il nous a paru naturel de lui faire découvrir le mantrailing, qui lui a permis de gagner en confiance. En offrant à mes chiens un moyen d’exprimer leurs compétences naturelles et en développant mes propres capacités d’observation, j’ai appris à mieux les comprendre et à reconnaître tout ce dont ils sont capables. Cela a profondément enrichi notre relation. Les capacités olfactives et analytiques des chiens ne cessent de m’émerveiller.  À travers le sportrailing, je souhaite offrir aux chiens et à leurs humains la possibilité de partager une activité respectueuse de leur nature, qui met en valeur leurs talents et compétences, en particulier lorsque le quotidien est parfois difficile. Mon objectif est de créer un espace bienveillant où chacun peut apprendre, évoluer et renforcer le lien qui l’unit à son chien.

I discovered mantrailing with Charlotte Bauquesne and Carole Decorsaire when we were struggling with the behaviour of our rescue pup, Nobby. He immediately showed great motivation and finds real fulfilment in this activity. When we adopted our second dog, Koke, a rescued Galgo from Spain, we naturally introduced him to mantrailing as well, and it has helped him gain a lot of confidence. By giving my dogs an outlet for their natural abilities and improving my observation skills, I’ve learned to understand them better and appreciate the remarkable work they’re capable of. This has deepened and enriched our relationship. My dogs’ — and all dogs’ — olfactory and analytical skills never cease to amaze me. With sportrailing, I want to offer dogs and their humans the opportunity to share meaningful, species-typical activities that highlight the dogs’ talents and skills, especially when everyday life feels challenging. My aim is to create a safe space for learning and growing together and to help strengthen the bond between dogs and their guardians.
