Sarah grew up training and showing 4H obedience & agility dogs from age 11 to 18. She always loved interacting with the many different dogs and their owners while showing her own dog, Scout.
After attending college and earning a degree in Criminal Justice, she spent several years working as a Detention Officer for a local Sheriff’s Office before deciding to pursue training and certification for a career in dog training. She was fortunate to secure an internship at Georgia K9 NTC and was trained and certified in Basic, Advanced, & Elite Obedience, Puppy Preschool, and Behavior Modification. During her training with GAK9 Sarah worked with dogs from many different backgrounds, breeds, ages, and with all types of behavioral issues.
Starting in July 2021, Sarah owns and operates Last Best K9 based in Kalispell, Montana, serving the greater Flathead Valley. Last Best K9 offers all levels of obedience training/behavior modification/puppy training and is a franchise of Georgia K9.
