TOM DRIESSENS

For more than 25 years, I have been active in dog sports, with a special passion for working with German Shepherds and Belgian Malinois. What began as a hobby has grown into a lifelong dedication to training, teamwork, and building a strong bond between humans and dogs.

Over the years, I have explored various disciplines within dog sports, but in recent years my heart has been especially drawn to mantrailing. This intensive and refined form of scent work—where the dog follows a specific person based on their scent—fits perfectly with my vision of dog‑centered training, trust, and cooperation.

With my own group, Paws on Trails, I now enthusiastically guide teams in mantrailing. Sharing knowledge, watching teams grow, and strengthening the connection between dog and handler give me new energy every single day.
